Sydney WINES, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay 澳洲悉尼葡萄酒, 西拉, 赤霞珠, 霞多麗

The Shiraz grape ( has its origin in the Rhone Valley of France and is known in France as Syrah. Cuttings of Syrah were brought to Australia more than 150 years ago and via a very good vine improvement scheme in Australia we have access to disease free, own root clones that produce a range of styles of Shiraz.

Paterson’s Shiraz is made from two of the best clones (PT23 and BVCR12) planted on our vineyard and when combined in one wine, exhibit the deep purple colour and flavour concentration of PT23 and the complex, spicy aromas of BVCR12.

Paterson’s Gundagai Shiraz is deep purple when young with concentrated dark fruit weight on the palate and a lifted bouquet of spice, dark fruits and coffee. Whilst our Shiraz wines drink very well when young, they also age well and will still be drinking beautifully even with 10 years bottle age.

Our current vintage is 2015.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon ( has its origin in Bordeaux, France and as with Shiraz, cuttings were brought to Australia over 150 years ago. Our vineyard is planted with the clone: SA125 which produces wines with great depth of flavour and intense aroma.

Our Cabernet Sauvignon wines are at their best 2 – 3 years after bottling and will age well for up to 15 years.

Our current vintage is 2014
